Do my students have to find their own location to investigate for the set assignment? 

The set assignment recommends to teachers to find a site appropriate for all students to carry out their investigations. They should ensure they seek appropriate permissions to use the location and carry out their own risk assessments for the fieldwork. Teachers should share the exact location with students prior to them Task 2. Teachers should also consider the time of year students will be carrying out their fieldwork, such that it provides them with adequate data for the set assignment.
