2026/27 Moderation Windows
- Moderation window 1 (February series): 30 November 2026 to 26 February 2027
- Moderation window 2 (June series): 8 March to 11 June 2027
Requesting visits via the Cambridge OCR Moderation Service
The Cambridge OCR Moderation Service will be updated to allow visit requests for 2026/27 by 5 October 2026.
To submit a visit request for this year, you must have made a registration for at least one student for the subject since September 2025.
When will visits be confirmed for moderation window 1 (February 2027 series)?
Moderators will start to confirm visit dates for moderation window 1 from mid-October.
Before your moderator can confirm the visit, you must also have at least one NEA unit entry in the February 2027 series for the unit being requested.
What is the deadline to make visit requests for moderation window 1 (February 2027 series)?
The deadline for window 1 is 28 November.
If you are planning to request a visit early in window 1, requests should be submitted before the deadline to give your moderator enough time to review your request and for marks to be submitted at least 10 working days before your preferred visit date.
When will visits be confirmed for moderation window 2 (June 2027 series)?
Moderators will start to confirm visit dates for moderation window 2 from mid-December.
Before your moderator can confirm the visit, you must also have at least one NEA unit entry in the June 2027 series for the unit being requested. You can make unit entries for the June series from 20 November.
What is the deadline to make visit requests for moderation window 2 (June 2027 series)?
The deadline for window 2 is 28 February.
If you are planning to request a visit early in window 2, requests should be submitted before the deadline to give your moderator enough time to review your request and for marks to be submitted at least 10 working days before your preferred visit date.
We do not want to make our unit entries yet, can we request a visit before unit entries are made?
Yes, you can request visits before unit entries are made so we have your preferred dates. However, visits cannot be confirmed until you have made at least one unit entry.
Can we amend our requested dates once submitted?
You can amend your preferred dates in the Cambridge OCR Moderation Service until the point the date is confirmed by your moderator. If you need to make changes once the date is confirmed, please contact your moderator.

Visits can take place from:
- 4 January 2027 to 26 February 2027 for moderation window 1
- 8 March to 11 June 2027 for moderation window 2.
When can we request virtual visits for the Level 3 Award in Oracy?
Visit requests for Oracy can be submitted from October 2026.
When can virtual visits take place for the Level 3 Award in Oracy?
Virtual visits can take place from:
- 4 January 2027 to 26 February 2027 for moderation window 1
- 8 March to 11 June 2027 for moderation window 2
