Submitting marks successfully
You can use one of the following methods to submit your marks/grades or absences:
- Interchange – see our guidance for submitting marks and grades on our website
- EDI mark file via A2C
For absent or withdrawn candidates, please tick the left-hand absent box on Interchange or enter ‘A’ on EDI files.
Remember to also complete the ‘Checked’ boxes and press submit, on Interchange (this includes absent candidates).
Checking your mark submissions on Interchange
If you’ve already entered marks/ticked absents via Interchange, please check the status of your marks in the indicated pages on the table below to see if they have been submitted.
After entering and checking your marks on the ‘Enter coursework marks/grades' page, the page must be refreshed before the ‘submit’ button becomes available.

Checking if your submission was successful
Visit the ‘View submitted coursework marks/grades’ page:
If you have submitted the marks, you will see one of the following statuses:
- ‘Submitted’ means that marks are currently transferring to us
- ‘Confirmed’ means we have received them
Special Consideration
If all or part of a candidate’s work is lost or damaged through no fault of the candidate, please submit a special consideration application. You can access Special Consideration via OCR Interchange.
If the work was marked before it was lost, you can submit the marks as described above. If the work was not marked before it was lost, please enter ‘A’ for absent. If you have any other queries relating to lost work, please contact our Special Requirements team at srteam@ocr.org.uk
