New: Withdrawing students using the Progress Tracker
Users with the exams officers role are now able to ask OCR to withdraw students that have left your centre before the end of their course via the Progress Tracker. To request a withdrawal, select 'Withdraw' from the lozenge that you use to amend the estimated completion date:
When you click on 'Withdraw' for a student, a warning will appear. Only students who have left the programme and will not be claiming any more units can be withdrawn. You must not withdraw students with any pending unit results or students who will be completing their qualification in a future year.
- Confirm: A status of 'Withdrawn' will be applied to the student in the Tracker. In approximately seven days, we will withdraw the student. When they are withdrawn, they will no longer appear in the Progress Tracker or in the Interchange Registrations and Entries area. Unit achievements will continue to be available in Interchange.
- Cancel: The existing estimated completion date will remain and the student will not be withdrawn.
If you apply the 'Withdrawn' status to a student in error and the student is still available in the Tracker, change the student back to their correct estimated completion date and OCR will not withdraw the student.
If you apply the 'Withdrawn' status to a student in error and the student is no longer available in the Tracker, please contact us.
