It is a requirement of all Diploma-level qualifications that all candidates engage with activities relating to learning or assessment where an employer has made a contribution. This is explained in further detail in Section 5 of the Certificate and Diploma Qualification Handbook under “Involving employers in teaching, learning and assessment”. There is no such requirement for Certificate-level qualifications.
Centres must produce a Meaningful Employer Involvement (MEI) plan using the template and guidance available on the OCR website.
The MEI plan will be reviewed when a moderator visits to review a claim, and will be reported on in the visit report.
