In many of the Cambridge Technicals Engineering units, candidates are required to undertake practical activities. An effective way for candidates to provide evidence is with step by step photographs showing the activity being performed. Photographs should be suitably annotated to explain what is being shown. Alternatively, a video could be produced with suitable audio commentary. Where a computer program is being used for a design or programming activity, then annotated screen shots can be used. Please remember that candidates should also include evidence of the final item produced or manufactured.
It is also essential that when performing any practical activities that they have clearly addressed health and safety. This could be in the form of a simple risk assessment.
Please see how Witness Statements can be to further support and corroborate candidate-generated evidence ('How do I use a Witness Statement correctly?').
