Can I tell my students which genetic disease to research in F172?
No, students have two options available to them, and they should be given freedom to choose whichever one they are most interested in. It would not be in keeping with the assignment to lead students towards any one disease/syndrome. However, it will not matter if a large number of students in your class choose one disease over another – this is likely to occur from year to year.
