A Level Business (H436) is now ready for first teaching in September 2026 with first assessments in 2028. The new qualification has been accredited by Ofqual and replaces the existing A Level Business (H431). A Level Business (H436) is the specification to teach new 2-year A Level students beginning their study from September 2026.
A mapping guide has been produced to support teachers moving from H431 to H436 and shows how the redeveloped components map to the current specification.
