GCSE Music: What to include when submitting work

Once marks have been submitted to OCR, you will receive a sample request. Depending on the size of the cohort, this sample might consist of all the students or just a selection of them.

The table below explains what to submit for each component, whether you’re submitting work by post or uploading it to the repository.

A Centre authentication form (CCS160) should be completed and then retained within the centre

Within the work from each centre it is important to include:

  • The Performance sound files
  • The Composition sound files
  • Candidate Cover Sheet per candidate
  • Scores/lead sheet for performances and compositions.

Each student has their own folder for easy ‘drag and drop’ placement.

Within the work from each centre it is important to include:

  • All recordings per component on one CD with a track list, in candidate order. (This should be playable on any device – CD player, laptop etc…)
  • A separate track list for any CD.
  • Candidate Cover Sheet per candidate
  • Scores/lead sheet for performances and compositions.
