Cambridge National in Health and Social Care (2022): What are the key dates we need to know?

All units and overall certification is available every January and June series. If you are intending students take the exam in a January series, please make sure you are aware of the Terminal rule that applies to the examined unit R032 (Principles of care in health, social care and early years settings).

January Series

Fixed dates (these do not change each year):

• Entries deadline: 21 October
• Entry withdrawals with a refund deadline: 21 November
• Mark submission deadline: 10 January

All other dates, including the result issue dates, change each year. Please see our Key dates and timetables page of the OCR website. 

June Series

Fixed dates (these do not change each year):

• Entries deadline: 21 February
• Entry withdrawals with a refund deadline: 21 March
• Mark submission deadline: 15 May

Resit entries in the June series of the same unit taken in January

• Final date for entering June 2025 resit entries following the issue of the January 2025 results without incurring late fees: 4 April

This extended June entry deadline is for students entered for a unit in the January series and want to wait until January results are issued to decide to resit in the June series for the same unit. When making resit entries, please make sure you and your students are aware of the Terminal rule.
