We have produced a fact sheet that gives teachers information to think about when deciding which tier is most suitable for their students. The fact sheet shows combined science, however the theory is the same for separate sciences.
We have also produced a tiering guide that can be shared with parents and students.
Professional Development “How to make effective tiering decisions for GCSE sciences” is also available each year to provide more in depth support.
