Can students use material from another qualification in their EPQ?

No, students should not use substantive material that has been taught in or produced for, another accredited qualification. 

The student’s EPQ should not rely heavily on subject matter already assessed in their other courses, and students should avoid using the same textbooks or class materials as their main sources of research. 

The EPQ must be a genuine extension of the knowledge and skills gained from their other subjects, or it should explore a topic that is entirely separate from them.
