We are reviewing the adaptations for 2020/21 for our vocational qualifications (excluding Cambridge Nationals and Cambridge Technicals) and will update this article with further guidance as soon as we can.

Reduction in assessment is not available for these qualifications in 2021/22:

All requests for a unit teacher assessed grade or a reduction in assessment from 2020/21 for the qualifications above must be made by 15 September 2021.
We plan to carry over our other adaptations available during 2020/21 to 2021/22, including completing assessments from home and the use of alternative evidence. These adaptations are being reviewed and any changes will be confirmed shortly.
For verified qualifications, EQAs will continue to conduct their processes remotely with you. We will update you when EQA visits are available as soon as we can.
Assessments to be taken as normal with no adaptations
As our CPC qualifications act as a licence to practise it would not be safe to award these qualifications using adaptations or alternative approaches to awarding such as a teacher judgement. Where the assessment cannot take place safely, it will need to be delayed. Please note, the last series to sit a CPC with OCR is December 2021, please see our FAQs for details.
