GCSE, AS and A Level, EPQ, Core Maths, FSMQ, Entry Level (GQ)
When will students get their GCSE, AS, A Level or EPQ results?
Students will receive their exam results in August, as agreed at the start of this academic year:
- A Levels and other Level 3 qualifications on Thursday 13 August
- GCSEs and other Level 1/2 qualifications, Entry Level (GQ) on Thursday 20 August
What will their results look like?
On the results slips and certificates, grades will be reported in the same way as in previous years.
What’s key for students is that the grades awarded will have ‘equal status’ to grades in other years and should be treated the same way by universities, colleges and employers.
If a student decides to take an exam in the Autumn, which grade will stand, the summer grade or the exam?
Students who feel their grades from the summer do not reflect their ability will have the opportunity to take their exams in the Autumn series or in Summer 2021.
If they choose to do this, both grades will stand.
Will results be issued by EDI and Interchange as usual?
Yes, results will be available on Interchange and released via A2C as usual.
Will OCR provide results reports this summer?
We’ll produce the Candidate Statement of Marks in both PDF and CSV and the Results Broadsheet in PDF on Interchange, as usual.
Only qualification grades will be available this summer, so your results reports won’t include component or overall marks.
