No, you do not need to submit NEA/coursework marks or samples.
For information about what your centre needs to submit to us, please see this article in our teacher area.
Can we tell our students the marks awarded for NEA that was completed before the exam series was cancelled?
No, students should not be given their marks for completed NEA.
We’ve already given students their NEA marks as part of our standard practice. Do we need to do anything?
If you’ve already given students their NEA marks, you don’t need to do anything. But all centres and students need to know that this is only part of the evidence considered, so it doesn’t fully indicate the student's final grade. So if you have not yet told your students their NEA marks, don’t tell them now.
Will there be an internal appeals procedure for NEA marks?
No, there won’t be an internal appeals process this summer. This is because the centre assessment grades, rank orderings and endorsements are confidential and must not be given to students or parents.
Can we give students the grade for completed NEA after results are published?
The appeals process hasn’t been confirmed yet. We’ll give you more guidance before the results are issued in August.
