AS and A Level PE: Can candidates be assessed on multiple disciplines in the same sport?

Candidates should only be assessed in one discipline for their sport. For example in Equestrian candidates should be assessed in Dressage OR Show Jumping OR Cross Country OR Horse Racing. There are exceptions to this however:

Dance - Candidates are expected to perform two dances and these can be one dance from two different styles from the approved list, or two different dances in the same style. 

Gymnastics - Candidates must choose any two disciplines from the Olympic OR Rhythmic gymnastics options. Tis could be two from Olympic, or two from Rhythmic, or one from each.
