Entry Level English: How is OCR Entry Level English moderated?

Following internal standardisation, centres are required to submit marks to OCR and the moderator. If there are 10 students or fewer, all the work should be submitted for moderation at the same time as marks are submitted. If there are more than 10 a sample will be requested.

There are two ways to submit work for moderation:

• Moderation via the OCR Repository
• Postal moderation

Each student’s work should have a cover sheet attached to it with a summary of the marks awarded for the Reading, Writing and Spoken language tasks. If the work is to be submitted in digital format, this cover sheet should also be submitted electronically within each student’s folder.
