Many of the marking criteria require corroboration of how independently and safely a candidate has worked to move between the mark bands.
A Witness Statement is an effective way to provide this evidence to the moderator. Please remember, however, that the Witness Statement can only be used to support and corroborate evidence produced by the candidate. It is essential that the candidate also shows clear evidence of addressing health and safety when performing practical activities (which could be a simple risk assessment activity).
