AS and A Level Biology A: How can my students practise for the exams?

There are full sets of AS Level and A Level specimen papers, and past papers available from Teach Cambridge.

In addition the following practice paper resources are available and one set of AS Level practice papers available from the password protected Teach Cambridge.

• two sets of A Level practice papers for Biology A
• one set of AS practice papers for Biology A
• most recent Biology A AS and A Level past papers, mark schemes, and examiners reports.

Each year the previous year’s AS and A Level past papers, mark schemes, examiners reports and candidate exemplars are released on the public qualification web pages at the beginning of August. This is to allow all candidates, including those taking the examinations as private candidates, access to these materials prior to each year’s exam series.

The OCR ExamBuilder is an online service that allows teachers to build their own assessments using a bank of reformed and legacy Biology A and Biology B (Advancing Biology) questions from the June 2014 series up to the most recent but one reformed assessment series.
