A Level English Literature: How many stories from The Bloody Chamber do students need to write about?

Generally speaking, students should aim to discuss 3-4 short stories from The Bloody Chamber. This is not a definitive guide as it very much depends on the quality of the response as a whole.

 In the teaching of this text students should become very familiar with all the stories in The Bloody Chamber so that they have a broader range to work with in the exam.  In the exam itself, students can use examples or give analysis of any of the stories in the text, they do not need to feel obliged to answer on the named story, The Bloody Chamber, but can use any of the tales that are most appropriate for the focus of the question.
