All of the core set texts for Component 2 are prohibited for use in the coursework. This means the two core set texts taken from each topic area cannot be used, regardless of the topic students are studying for the exam.
However, the suggested set texts for Component 2, on pages 36-37 of the specification, can be used for coursework so long as they’re not being studied for the exam and if they meet the NEA text requirements.
