Some areas of the legacy A Level Law specification have not been included in our reformed specification. The common areas that teachers ask us about are detailed below:
Bail is no longer in the specification (students simply need to know it is an element of pre-trial) and nor is youth sentencing.
Apart from Bail and youth sentencing, the topics we get asked most about that are no longer on the spec include:
- primary and secondary victims
- psychiatric injury/nervous shock
- economic loss/negligent misstatement
- magistrates training.
None of the above have been included in the A Level Law H415 specification.
