General qualifications, Cambridge Nationals, Cambridge Technicals
We will ask you to submit your teacher assessed grades using the Grade Submission System we developed last year. We will be providing training, step-by-step guides and FAQs on using the updated system.
The deadline for submitting teacher assessed grades is 18 June 2021. We will let you know when you will be able to set up user access within your centre before it becomes available to enter grades.
You will be able to submit this information directly into the website or by uploading a spreadsheet, which needs to be in a CSV format. The candidate and qualification details will be pre-populated in the CSV file(s) you download from the system. You will only need to add the grades.
Will we need to submit rank orders like last year?
No, you only need to submit a grade this year. You do not need to submit a rank order.
We offer more than one OCR specification in a subject, how do we enter these?
Unlike summer 2020, teacher assessed grades are at specification level and not subject level. If you have students entered for different specifications in the same subject (eg History A and History B), the specifications will be listed separately in our Grade Submission System.
We offer the same subject with more than one awarding body, how do we provide the teacher assessed grade?
Teacher assessed grades are at specification level and not subject level. If you have students entered with different awarding bodies for the same subject, you will submit the grades separately to each awarding body. For OCR, this will be through our Grade Submission System.
For qualifications with tiers, does the teacher assessed grade need to match the entry?
Yes, for qualifications with tiers, the teacher assessed grade you provide must be available in the tier you’ve entered for. If you need to change the entry tier, you can this without charge.
If you need to change an entry option and are using A2C, send an EDI amendment file with the new entry code in it and it will overwrite the previous entry. On Interchange, enter for the new option code. You do not need to withdraw and re-enter the candidate(s).
If you need to make any entry amendments, eg tier changes, please make them via EDI or Interchange as usual. Please allow up to 48 hours for the new entry to appear on the Grade Submission System.
