Most OCR centres in England will be automatically approved to offer the OCR Level 3 Certificate in Sustainability.
Centres that offer OCR qualifications that do not contain formal timetabled exams and non-OCR centres will need to request approval - read on for more details.
The OCR Level 3 Certificate in Sustainability is not available to centres in Wales or Northern Ireland.
Existing OCR centres that do not require additional approval
If you are a centre in England currently approved to offer OCR qualifications in any subject from the list below, we will automatically approve you for the OCR Level 3 Certificate in Sustainability. You do not need to request additional approval.
- Cambridge Technicals (2016)
- Cambridge Nationals
- General Qualifications with OCR (eg AS and A Level, GCSE and FSMQ)
If you have not submitted entries for any of these qualifications in the last two years, please contact our centre approval team at Centre.Approval@ocr.org.uk as your approval may have lapsed.
Existing OCR centres in England that require additional approval
If you currently only offer the OCR qualifications below, you must request additional approval to offer the OCR Level 3 Certificate in Sustainability as the qualifications below do not have formal timetabled exams.
- Cambridge Technicals (2012)
- Other vocational qualifications (including Careers guidance, Life and Living Skills)
Please contact our centre approval team at Centre.Approval@ocr.org.uk to begin the process, which may involve a visit from JCQ Centre Inspection Service.
Non-OCR Centres
If you do not offer any OCR qualifications, you will need to apply to be an OCR centre. Depending on your circumstances we may contact awarding bodies for references, arrange for a representative to visit your centre or carry out a credit check.
