The requirements regarding calculators are detailed in JCQ instructions for conducting exams which can be found on the JCQ website.
We are unable to comment on specific models, as the written specifications on-line are not always fully detailed in terms of the capabilities of the calculator. There are also very often variants which look identical but contain different functions within the programming. It isn't possible for us to individually evaluate specific calculator models for compliance, given the large number available. If the JCQ guidance has still left you unsure as to whether a particular calculator model is appropriate for examinations, we would recommend contacting the JCQ directly to see if they are able to provide any further guidance. In general, our recommendation is that a basic scientific calculator is all that is required for A Level Science examinations.
