AS and A Level Media Studies: What changes are being made to the set products for AS and A Level Media Studies?

We are replacing some of the set media products for first teaching September 2023, first assessment 2025 (2024 for AS Level).  The changes relate to the following media forms: 

• Advertising and marketing 
• Music videos (A Level only) 
• Film 
• Video games 
• Long Form Television Drama 

There are no changes to the set media products for newspapers, radio, magazines, and online, social and participatory media. 

A range of resources are available on Teach Cambridge to support teaching of the new set products which can be found in the Teaching section under Set products (2023).  A number of blog articles about the new set products are available on our website.
