GCSE Food: If a student has an access arrangement of 25% extra time for the written paper, would they be entitled to the extra time in the practical task?

If a student has special educational needs, disabilities, temporary illness or injury, centres can apply for access arrangements for reasonable adjustments. Applications for these should be made before the exam series.

Examination Officers can apply via Access Arrangements Online accessed through Interchange.

If a student is granted extra time in the practical task, then the allocation of this time should be decided by the teacher on an individual basis.
